The Aidite Rapid 5 is a compact intraoral scanner for digital impressions in prosthodontics, implant dentistry, and orthodontics. Weighing only 162 grams, with an ergonomic handpiece and a depth of field of 25 mm, it is designed for smooth handling and easy access during scanning.

The low weight ensures a comfortable working experience. Buttons on both sides of the handpiece make the scanner easy to maneuver in various working positions. Scanner tips in standard and mini sizes allow you to adapt access to the patient’s specific needs. The tips are autoclavable for up to 100 cycles according to the manufacturer’s instructions.

Software for Multiple Treatment Areas

Rapid 5 features specialized software functions for scanning teeth, soft tissue, metal, dentures, and scan bodies. It supports digital workflows ranging from single restorations to more extensive prosthetic and implant-based treatments.

The software also includes tools for checking occlusion and undercuts, marking preparation margins, and model editing. For orthodontic workflows, there are functions for tooth segmentation and simulation.

Digital Foundation for Further Work

The scan creates a digital foundation for the continued design and fabrication of restorations. Aidite’s digital workflow also includes features for model generation and preparation for 3D printing.
