Bone substitute processed at low temperatures
UBGEN® is one of very few companies that process bovine material at low temperatures.
Most commercially available biomaterials process bovine bone at high temperatures. High temperature leads to a significantly lower resorption index and the bone graft remains in the oral cavity even after many years.
In UBGEN®, we exploit the winning properties of bovine bone substitutes treated at low temperature through our unique Thermagen production process. RE-BONE® has been shown to promote volume stability in situ, thanks to granules with superficial cracking technology.
In addition, this low-temperature cleaning process prevents ceramization, while keeping the bone matrix perfectly resorbable and biocompatible.
RE-BONE® is fully absorbed in 6-8 months.
