Filling instruments are used at every stage of restorative treatment to apply, shape and densify filling materials such as composites. They are indispensable tools to achieve aesthetically and functionally correct fillings.

Typical uses of filling instruments

Application: Place the material precisely into the cavity with a scraper, spatula or applicator tip.

Shaping: Create anatomical occlusal and interproximal contour with specific shapers and contour tools.

Condensation: Pack filling material along walls and bottom for optimal sealing.

Fine-tuning: Smooth the surface and eliminate pores or irregularities before curing.

ErgoLite instruments are lightweight instruments (11.5 mm, 14 grams). The instruments are autoclavable and meet hygiene requirements for clinical safety.
