VOCO Futurabond® DC

Futurabond DC from VOCO is a nanoparticle-reinforced, dual-curing, self-etching two-component adhesive. It creates a bond between enamel or dentin and light-curing, self-curing, or dual-curing restorative and cementation materials.

The self-etching formulation means that the tooth surface normally does not need to be etched separately. Futurabond DC is compatible with composites, compomers, and ORMOCER® materials with various curing modes. The combination of light and chemical curing makes the adhesive particularly useful in situations where light cannot reach the entire bonding surface.

Futurabond DC can be used for direct restorations and post and core build-ups, as well as for cementing root posts. It is also intended for indirect restorations such as inlays, onlays, crowns, and bridges when self-curing or dual-curing composite cement is used.
