RE-BONE® Bone Substitute
RE-BONE® is a bovine-origin bone substitute with high biocompatibility, closely resembling the structure of human bone.
Unlike many competing products, the production process occurs at a low temperature (max 120º C), made possible by the unique Thermagen production process. This low-temperature process prevents ceramization (resulting in hard, unusable compact bone) while keeping the product perfectly resorbable and biocompatible.
The bone substitute produced in this way has been shown to facilitate in situ volumetric stability, thanks to the superficial cracking of the granules.
RE-BONE® is volume-stable, with high porosity and complete resorption after creating a scaffold that stimulates the growth of new cells and blood vessels. The material is fully absorbed within 6-8 months.
UBGEN, the manufacturer, places a strong emphasis on the selection of raw materials in an almost unique way.
Full traceability of raw materials from selected farms, all located in Italy. Only young animals under 24 months are used. Multiple stages of quality control to ensure a safe and effective product.
