Panavia F 2.0 - Premium dual-cure adhesive cement with long clinical success
Panavia F 2.0 is a dual-cure, surface self-curing resin cement with fluoride release and unique anaerobic curing, developed by Kuraray Noritake. This cement has over 20 years of documented clinical success and achieves high bonding values to both natural tooth structure and various restorative materials, such as metal, ceramic (including zirconia) and composite.
Features & Benefits Panavia F 2.0
- Exceptional bond strength to enamel, dentin, metal, ceramic oxides (such as zirconia), porcelain and composite - thanks to MDP monomer
- Dual-cure with anaerobic properties - the gel phase is cured with light, while areas without light are chemically initiated in oxygen-free zones for a complete, tight cure
- Fluoride-releasing - maintains mechanical strength along with caries prevention thanks to a sodium fluoride-based coating technology
- Minimal post-operative sensitivity - caused by the mild, self-etching primer system (ED Primer II), with low pH and minimal polymerization stress
- Stress-free working time - the anaerobic cure allows for long working time and flexibility in relatively demanding cementations
- Lock in a break-free margin - independent research shows low micro-leakage and better cavity tightness compared to competitors
Indications & use
- Permanent cementation of crowns, bridges, inlays, onlays and veneers in metal, ceramic, composite or ceramic oxides
- Adhesive bridges, core build-up, prefab post cementation and amalgam bonding
Practical kits available - Intro Kit (basic) and Complete Kit with Alloy Primer and Ceramic Primer for basic surface preparation on metal or ceramic
