Microtextured, high density PTFE membrane. 17x25 mm, 250µ.
MEISINGER dPTFE membranes are made of high-density PTFE with a pore size of less than 0.3 μm. The non-resorbable membrane is therefore resistant to bacteria and provides maximum predictability and aesthetics.
When using dPTFE membranes, no primary wound closure is required. The exposed membrane can be removed with forceps after at least 21 days without surgical intervention, and without the need for additional anesthesia.
The hexagonal recesses are designed to increase the surface area, leading to increased stability of the membrane and favoring cell adhesion without increasing porosity.
For best results, the side with the indentations should be placed against the soft tissue. MEISINGER dPTFE membranes can be cut to size if required.
